Flûte Couture Private Trial Sessions

A private trial session is for the flutist looking seriously at purchasing a new instrument. All flutes available at the time and accessories will be brought to the location of the client’s choice. Special requests for makes and models can be made and the client may bring one guest to the trial.

Selection assistance is part of the private trial service and includes recordings, active listening and note taking of the client’s own observations.

Fees for this service vary according to length of session, special requests, trial fees from the makers and location. Please send us an email for more details.

Flûte Couture Search Services

This intense instrument search service is for the flutist needing more assistance due to busy schedules or a need for more support from a fellow professional flutist.

We schedule a meeting to listen to the client on their current instrument and ask pertinent questions to establish the kind of sound they are looking for and whether there are any problems they are trying to solve. Ergonomics are considered as well as other potential accommodations.

The search is not limited to our select makers, although they will of course be included. Flutes on consignment and all other makes and models, as decided between the client and Flûte Couture will be considered. We will hunt down and play instruments and present the client with several options we feel are suitable. We will continue to work with you until you find your match. There are no brand biases in our service.

Contact us for a quote or to ask any questions about our services. You can also reach us anytime by telephone +1-416-827-6510

Why Flûte Couture?

Canadian flutists typically must spend many days in Boston or at the once yearly NFA convention to try many of the best flutes. Bringing flutes up for private trials can cost a lot of money in shipping for the makes one does not purchase.

Busy professionals and students often don't have the time or budget for such an expense!

Let Flûte Couture save you time and expense in your search for the perfect flute!
